Senior Marketing Coordinator - Birmingham, AL

Department: Marketing & Client Relations - 550
Location: Birmingham, AL

Are you a forward thinker who thinks outside the box? Are you ready to showcase your talents to help a growing law firm reach new horizons? Then this may be the position for you! Butler Snow LLP is looking for a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team in the Birmingham, AL office location. This is a in-office position.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for the marketing team and attorneys.
  • Collaborate with marketing team as well as with community organizations to manage and administer firm sponsorships across the firm network.
  • Assist meeting planners with various aspects of planning events and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate multiple projects including events, webinars, public relations, and business development activities across the firm.
  • Create and distribute event marketing communications via email, web, print for various projects.
  • Create various publications and materials.
  • Create and edit attorney biographies in the firm’s CMS system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Clear understanding of various marketing and communication functions.
  • Innovative and resourceful; actively seeks opportunities to assist the team with multiple projects.
  • Provides excellent client service to clients, attorneys, and marketing team members.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage concurrent tasks efficiently.
  • Superior attention to detail; first class organizational skills.
  • High energy, positive, professional attitude, pride in work product.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Website/Content Management systems, InDesign, and other graphic design tools a plus, experience with email marketing campaigns a must.
  • Proactively demonstrates effective teamwork with other members, actively participates in team meetings, prioritizes, and anticipates work needs, and works well under occasional periods of pressure and short deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • At least two years of related experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
